– Avacyn Restored common. The art in Predator’s Gambit shows a vampire that has been forced into the position of being hunted, rather than the hunter. But that might not last, because the vampire is getting mad!

– Avacyn Restored mythic rare. From the Avacyn Restored FAQ: “First you choose the permanents and/or cards from your hand that will be exiled. Then each other player in turn order does the same. Then all the chosen permanents and cards are exiled simultaneously. Players who choose after you will know what permanents you’ll be exiling when they choose. They’ll know how many cards you’ll be exiling from your hand, but they won’t see those cards.”

– Mirrodin rare. Liar’s Pendulum started life as as a riff on Cursed Scroll, but the design team changed its effect to card-drawing for flavor reasons.

– Unglued rare. Each card in Unglued has a bonus word on its rules text line, which can be combined to form a bonus joke. But did you know that the words sometimes tie in to the card on which they appear? Consider Jester’s Sombrero, which has flavor text spoken by a small Mexican dog. And the bonus word? “Chihuahuas”. Fascinating!

– Onslaught common. Things have changed since the days of Onslaught. For example, the entire direction David Martin was given for Trickery Charm was “Blue mist in a glass charm shaped like a shell.” The original sketch was a little more clown-centric than the creative team liked. You can see it here.
